Volleyball Recap: Seckinger Takes a Loss

Seckinger was the 3-0 winner over Roswell when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets on Tuesday. While the Jaguars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 25-20 in the first set.

Seckinger started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

Roswell was led to victory by Natalie Chandler and Halle Reed. Chandler had five aces and three digs, while Reed had seven digs and three aces. That's the most digs Reed has posted since back in August.

Seckinger has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-11 record this season. As for Roswell, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-18.

Seckinger didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Brookwood on the 27th. As for Roswell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Westlake on the 25th.
