Softball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Clinton Arrows didn't have quite enough to beat the West Lauderdale Knights and fell 3-2. The Arrows have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Makenzie Cooley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for West Lauderdale, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Clinton will square off against Germantown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Lauderdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
