Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Academy Takes a Loss

Lawrence Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Worcester Academy Hilltoppers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Lawrence Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Worcester Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lawrence Academy will square off against rival Groton School at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Worcester Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Mount St. Charles Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
