After a string of four wins, Addison's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Arab Knights. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Knights when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Addison was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Arab work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-17.

Ava Bartlett paced Addison's offense, picking up eight kills. Bartlett got some help from Annabeth Powell and her 11 assists. Bartlett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Addison's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Arab, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-19.

Addison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cullman on the 27th. As for Arab, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Priceville on the 27th.
