Woodrow Wilson faced Winfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Flying Eagles came out on top against the Generals by a score of 3-1. The Flying Eagles haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: Winfield scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 17-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Woodrow Wilson was led to victory by Kyndra Bailey and Londen Baker. Bailey had eight digs and three aces, while Baker had 27 digs and two assists. That's the most assists Baker has posted over her last 15 contests. Makayla Adkins also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Woodrow Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 23-13-6. As for Winfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 28-11-2 record.
