Basketball Recap: Wrangell Comes Up Short

Wrangell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 57-35 to the Metlakatla Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-29 on Friday.

Wrangell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Metlakatla, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Wrangell is taking a road trip to face off against Craig on Thursday. As for Metlakatla, they will take on Nenana in a tournament on Thursday.
