Creekside extends road losing streak to five

Recap: Creekside Seminoles vs. Midtown Knights

The Creekside Seminoles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. Their rough 64-44 defeat to Midtown might stick with them for a while. Creekside was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Midtown apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Several Seminoles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amadou Onyia, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tim Gaulden, who scored 13 points.

Creekside's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Midtown, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Creekside will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Villa Rica at 4:30 p.m. Villa Rica has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 370 points over their last six contests. As for Midtown, they will head out on the road to face off against Tri-Cities at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tri-Cities presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Midtown in Georgia (Tri-Cities is ranked 103rd, while Midtown is ranked 332nd).
