            University School waltzed into their match  on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Western Reserve Academy Pioneers  a   16-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Preppers, who have now won eight contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Slater Schoaf looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Jack Nelson and  Deacon Nelson did most of the damage at the plate:  Jack  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple, while  Deacon  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs and two  stolen bases. Those  two  runs gave  Jack a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sal Prolizo, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI and one  run.
 University School  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .686. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile,  Western Reserve Academy (ranked 56th) will meet Medina Christian Academy (ranked 476th)  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
