Holly Springs waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They put the hurt on the Apex Cougars with a sharp 5-0 victory. Considering Holly Springs have won 12 games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Apex with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Reese Kulha (3), Ally Wahdan, and Adriana Bonanno.

Holly Springs pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matches. As for Apex, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5-3.
