Soccer Recap: Charleston Collegiate Takes a Loss

Charleston Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the St. John's Islanders. Charleston Collegiate were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. John's apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Charleston Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. John's, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Charleston Collegiate will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thomas Sumter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on April 7. As for St. John's, they will head out on the road to square off against Branchville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
