Volleyball Recap: Mt. Shasta's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Mt. Shasta had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Etna Lions.

The win didn't come easy: Etna scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-20, 20-25.

Savannah Henson paced Mt. Shasta's offense, picking up seven kills. Henson got some help from Amirra Funk and her 18 assists. Finally, Henson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high seven blocks.

Mt. Shasta's victory bumped their record up to 12-5-2. As for Etna, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 14-8-2.

Coincidentally, Mt. Shasta and Etna will both be playing Weed the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bears will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
