Softball Recap: Farmington Scorpions vs. Miyamura Patriots
Farmington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 18-5 margin over the Miyamura Patriots. The Scorpions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 11 runs or more this season.

Alba Allen was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-5. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Eliana Juarez was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Taelor Joe was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 5-for-5.
