Volleyball Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

Jasper saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houston Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18.

Alivea Roberts paced Jasper's offense, picking up 11 kills. Roberts got some help from Brenlly Roberts and her 15 assists. Alivea was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Jasper's defeat dropped their record down to 12-13-3. As for Houston, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7-3.

Jasper has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Appleton City on the 14th. As for Houston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Dixon on the 13th.
