With a playoff game on the line, Warren Township rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 31-24 win over the Palatine Pirates. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Blue Devils' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Pirates are ranked 19th).

It was another big night for Aaron Stewart, who rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 113 rushing yards.

Warren Township was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.

Warren Township's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Javon Brisker.

Warren Township's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Palatine, they moved to 8-2 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
