Basketball Game Preview: Central Trail Blazers vs. Western International Cowboys

The Central Trail Blazers will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Western International Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Central nor Western International posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Central is leaving town to face Western International after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Central had to suffer through a 63-12 loss at the hands of Osborn. The Trail Blazers have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Western International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 42-22 to Pershing.

Central suffered a grim 40-17 defeat to Western International when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Western International's T?Nya Whitehead, who posted 27 points in addition to six boards and six steals.
