Soccer Recap: Greater Cabarrus S Takes a Loss

Greater Cabarrus S lost against Forsyth Home Educators on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Stallions came up short against the Hawks, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Greater Cabarrus S can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 391st, while Forsyth Home Educators are ranked 142nd).

Greater Cabarrus S' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-1 record this season.

Greater Cabarrus S has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Grace Academy on the 22nd. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Winston Salem Christian on the 22nd.
