Basketball Recap: Arizona College Prep Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Patsy Vanarsdale and Chloe Warren

Arizona College Prep suffered their biggest defeat since December 29, 2023 on Thursday. They lost 49-29 to the Joseph City Wildcats. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Arizona College Prep's loss came despite strong showings from Chloe Warren and Patsy VanArsdale. Warren posted nine points, while VanArsdale earned two points along with eight rebounds, seven assists, and four steals.

Joseph City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Amber Neill out in front who went 6 of 15 on her way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of April Neill, who put up 11 points and five rebounds.

Arizona College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Joseph City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Flagstaff the next time they take the court. Arizona College Prep will head out to face Flagstaff at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Joseph City will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
