After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Creek Valley, Minatare was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Banner County Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 43-24. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Minatare didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Izaiah Lowery and Jaydon Maglitto.

The win got Minatare back to even at 1-1. As for Banner County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minatare will head out to square off against Paxton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Banner County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Creek Valley on the 26th.
