Basketball Recap: Rocky Mountain Lutheran Eagles vs. Weldon Valley Warriors
After flying high against Ascent Classical Academy last Friday, Rocky Mountain Lutheran came back down to earth. The Rocky Mountain Lutheran Eagles came up short against the Weldon Valley Warriors on Tuesday, falling 41-19. The Eagles were down 35-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Katy Shade was Rocky Mountain Lutheran's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Shade also led the team in rebounds with seven.
It was another big night for Annie Onufrak, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards for Weldon Valley. Onufrak has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 15 times she's played.
