Stony Brook faced Poly Prep Country Day in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Sunday. The Bears never let the Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Bears have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Stony Brook, bringing their record up to 15-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Poly Prep Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stony Brook will venture away from home to take on Albany Academy for Boys at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Poly Prep Country Day, they will head out to square off against Hun at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
