Bayside and Cocoa pushed the score to 8-0 the last time they played Cocoa, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Bears' defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 2-0 shutout. Bayside haven't had any issues with Cocoa recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Wendito Talabert and Malik Spencer scored both of Bayside's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
