Baseball Recap: Boys' Latin Charter's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

If Boys' Latin Charter was feeling good fresh off their 13-1 takedown of George Washington on April 9th, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell 13-9 to the Constitution Generals on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost three in a row.

Chris Dempsey made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his eight plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Boys' Latin Charter fell to 5-1. As for Constitution, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Boys' Latin Charter didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-4 victory against Tacony Academy Charter on the 28th. As for Constitution, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-17 win against Prep Charter on the 30th.
