Basketball Game Preview: Wahpeton Huskies vs. Park River/Fordville-Lankin Aggies

The Wahpeton Huskies and the Park River/Fordville-Lankin Aggies will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Wahpeton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Park River/Fordville-Lankin likes a good challenge.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Wahpeton turned things around against Four Winds/Minnewaukan on Friday. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 61-53.

Meanwhile, Park River/Fordville-Lankin had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 38-30 victory over the Titans. The 38-point effort marked the Aggies' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Wahpeton's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Park River/Fordville-Lankin, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
