Football Recap: Jadyn Arias and Matthew Ratchford Lead the Defense for Dallastown Win

Dallastown's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Dover Eagles get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The six-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Dallastown's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jadyn Arias and Matthew Ratchford, who racked up four sacks between them. Ratchford also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven.

The win got Dallastown back to even at 4-4. As for Dover, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Coming up, Dallastown will venture away from home to challenge Spring Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Rockets have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. As for Dover, they will welcome Kennard-Dale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
