Baseball Recap: St. Paul/Palmer Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

The St. Paul/Palmer Wildcats earned a 5-1 victory over the Guardian Angels Central Catholic/Dodge/Scribner-Snyder Bluejays on Tuesday.

Braxton Heater spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, St. Paul/Palmer saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layne Baker, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. Gatlin Reimers also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
