Baseball Recap: Conemaugh Valley Comes Up Short

Conemaugh Valley and Blacklick Valley squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Conemaugh Valley had to settle for second. They fell 6-2 to the Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 back in April.

Conemaugh Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Dietz, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Conemaugh Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for Blacklick Valley, their record now sits at 17-4.

As of now, neither Conemaugh Valley nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
