Basketball Game Recap: Biggs Wolverines vs. Chester Volcanoes

The Biggs Wolverines lost against the Chester Volcanoes back in February of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Biggs was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to Chester. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Biggs in their matchups with Chester: they've now lost four in a row.

Biggs' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emilio Vera, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Chris Kroupa was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

Biggs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chester, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Biggs will head out on the road to face off against Tulelake at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chester will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Burney at 5:00 p.m. on December 9th.
