Volleyball Recap: Duchesne Wins Going Away Against Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience

Duchesne won the last time they faced Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Owls with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

While Duchesne won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 27-25.

Despite the loss, Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience still got an impressive performance from Berkiti Yehdego, who had 14 digs and one assist. Aubrey Schaus also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Duchesne's win bumped their record up to 11-9-1. As for Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience, their defeat ended a nine-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 25-3-1.

Duchesne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience, they will challenge Bayless at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
