Volleyball Recap: Plattsburg's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

The Plattsburg Tigers came up short against the Adrian Blackhawks on Saturday and fell 2-0. The loss put an end to the Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

Plattsburg was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20.

Ava Norton paced Plattsburg's offense, picking up six kills. Norton got some help from Leticia Howard and her seven assists. Howard also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Allie Stockdale, racking up two apiece.

Having lost for the first time this season, Plattsburg fell to 2-1. As for Adrian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Plattsburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Rock Port on the 30th. As for Adrian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mid-Buchanan on the 30th.
