Baseball Recap: Selinsgrove Comes Up Short

Selinsgrove had taken Shikellamy down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Seals took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves. The Seals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Jonathan Neidig made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Dominic Santer was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

This is the second loss in a row for Selinsgrove and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Shikellamy, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.
