Softball Recap: Lone Peak Comes Up Short

Lone Peak and Pleasant Grove squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lone Peak had to settle for second. They lost 13-3 to the Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent loss being a 19-2 defeat on Thursday.

Ruby Nelson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Lone Peak is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18. As for Pleasant Grove, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-6.

Lone Peak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasant Grove, they will square off against Bingham at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Miners have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
