Highland Regional barely beat Cumberland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tartans put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 14-5 victory on Monday. The Tartans not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th (when they won 14-2).

The win made it two in a row for Highland Regional and bumps their season record up to 8-6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Cumberland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland Regional will square off against Triton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cumberland, they will face off against Washington Township at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colts are facing the Minutemen at the right time seeing as the Minutemen are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
