Basketball Recap: Hale Piles Up the Points Against Meadville

Hale had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They breezed past the Meadville Eagles to the tune of 68-40. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Meadville still got an impressive performance from Donivan Schreckhise, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Schreckhise is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 47% in the last three games he's played. Carter Thompson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Hale's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Meadville, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 17-11 record.

As of now, neither Hale nor Meadville have any future games scheduled.
