Volleyball Recap: Johnson's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Johnson waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Fairfield Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win.

Johnson never let Fairfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Isaiah Patterson paced Johnson's offense, picking up nine kills. Patterson were helped by Jayden Yang and Evin Vang, who contributed four assists each. Finally, Melvin Sharma kept Johnson's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Fairfield, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Johnson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Florin on the 24th. As for Fairfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against West Campus on the 24th.
