Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson City vs. Rock Bridge

The Jefferson City Jays will venture away from home to take on the Rock Bridge Bruins at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson City's last six matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Jefferson City is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Hillsboro on Saturday. Neither the Jays nor the Hawks could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Rock Bridge entered their tilt with Timberland on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the T-Wolves by a score of 4-2. That's two games straight that Rock Bridge have won by exactly two goals.

Rock Bridge's win bumped their record up to 10-1. Jefferson City's draw gives them a new season record of 3-4-1.

Jefferson City suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Rock Bridge in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Jays avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
