Baseball Game Preview: Lehighton Indians vs. Wilson Area Warriors

The Lehighton Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Wilson Area Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lehighton has three straight victories, Wilson Area has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Monday, Lehighton was able to grind out a solid win over Northern Lehigh, taking the game 9-6.

The team relied heavily on Cody Snyder, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3. Jayse Lawrence was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Wilson Area fell victim to Jim Thorpe and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Olympians, falling 10-0.

Wilson Area saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Coyle, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Wilson Area's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lehighton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
