Softball Recap: Taft School Takes a Loss

Miss Porter hit Taft School with a seven-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Big Red lost 11-1 to Miss Porter's. The defeat leaves the Big Red still looking for their first win of the season.

Molly Hagymasi made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Taft School's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Miss Porter's, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Taft School will head out on the road to face off against Hopkins at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Miss Porter's, they will be playing at home against Loomis Chaffee School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
