Volleyball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Has No Trouble Against Necedah

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Wonewoc-Center and Necedah, and Wonewoc-Center kept the tradition alive. The Wolves put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-10.

Wonewoc-Center's offense was headlined by Kenlee Muntinga and Avery Miller, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Bella LeMoine and her 17 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Wonewoc-Center's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Necedah, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Wonewoc-Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Hillsboro on the 25th. As for Necedah, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Bangor on the 25th.
