Basketball Recap: Ojai Valley Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Ojai Valley had won three straight games and Edward Ying did his part to make it four on Thursday. Everything went the Ojai Valley Spuds' way against the Summit View Eagles as the Ojai Valley Spuds made off with a 68-42 victory thanks in part to Ying, who posted 22 points along with eight boards and three steals. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Ojai Valley pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Summit View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ojai Valley will venture away from home to face off against Pilgrim at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ojai Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.9 points per game this season. As for Summit View, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Westmark at 3:30 p.m. on January 28th.
