Soccer Recap: LBJ Austin Comes Up Short

LBJ Austin lost against Northeast Early College back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The LBJ Austin Jaguars fell just short of the Northeast Early College Raiders by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 552nd, while the Raiders are ranked 182nd).

LBJ Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Northeast Early College, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LBJ Austin will head out to challenge Lago Vista at 7:30 p.m. on February 25th. As for Northeast Early College, they are taking a road trip to face off against Eastside Early College at 10:45 a.m. on Friday.
