It's playoff time, and Ingleside had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Robstown Cottonpickers with a sharp 8-2 victory on Thursday. Considering the Mustangs have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Ingleside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Robstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-11.

As of now, neither Ingleside nor the Cottonpickers have any future games scheduled.
