Kansas is a perfect 10-0 against Sequoyah since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Kansas Comets will take on the Sequoyah Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kansas has three straight wins, Sequoyah has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Kansas is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since February 9, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Jay 55-53. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Sequoyah was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 31-27 to Salina.

Kansas' victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Sequoyah, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Kansas took their win against Sequoyah when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 45-23. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kansas since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
