Jyron Hughley put up the most rushing touchdowns he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 175 yards and two scores while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.

Hughley and Cardinal Newman will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Benjamin at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Crusaders got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Buccaneers thanks in part to Hughley: he threw for 205 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 34 yards.
