Volleyball Game Preview: Tate Aggies vs. Gulf Breeze Dolphins + How To Watch

Tate hasn't had much luck against Gulf Breeze recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Aggies are taking a road trip to challenge the Dolphins at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Tate is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Crestview. The victory was nothing new for the Aggies as they're now sitting on four straight.

Tate didn't let Crestview take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Gulf Breeze got the win against Pace on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Gulf Breeze not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Pace between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-13.

Tate better keep an eye on Bella Ciolino. She was instrumental in Gulf Breeze's win, getting 22 digs and one assist.

Gulf Breeze was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 13 consecutive contests.

Tate's record is now 20-5. As for Gulf Breeze, their record now sits at 22-3.

Tate couldn't quite get it done against Gulf Breeze when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Aggies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
