Basketball Game Preview: Highmore/Harrold Pirates vs. Jones County Coyotes

The Highmore/Harrold Pirates will start their season against the Jones County Coyotes. Tip off is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Jones County is leaving town to face Highmore/Harrold after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Jones County fell 44-33 to White River on Friday.

Jones County's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1.

As for Highmore/Harrold, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (12-11), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.

Highmore/Harrold came up short against Jones County in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 46-40. Thankfully for Highmore/Harrold, Cooper Feddersen (who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
