Basketball Recap: Kinder Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oberlin, Kinder was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jennings Bulldogs, sneaking past 47-44. This was payback for the Yellowjackets, who suffered a 90-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kinder is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Jennings, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kinder will venture away from home to take on Welsh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jennings, they are taking a road trip to square off against Sulphur at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
