It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Limestone had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They skirted past the Madison County Tigers 5-3. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on 14 straight.

Lilly Bethune and Lilee Legg did most of the damage at the plate: Bethune went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Legg went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

West Limestone's win bumped their record up to 44-5. As for Madison County, their loss dropped their record down to 32-12.

West Limestone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison County, they will take on Alexandria at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday. The Valley Cubs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
