Volleyball Recap: Allye Bandy Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Strawn

Ropes's tournament run continued when they took on Strawn on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Greyhounds by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Ropes' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Allye Bandy led the charge by getting seven digs and two aces. Bandy is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 18 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Vivian Gallegos, who had nine digs and four aces.

Ropes now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Strawn, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Ropes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Munday on the 15th. Strawn has also already played their next game (against Crowell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
