Flag Football Recap: Tustin Takes a Loss

Tustin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Westminster Lions, falling 26-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-7 on September 2nd.

Tustin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Westminster, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-11.

Tustin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-0 loss against Fullerton on the 26th. As for Westminster, they will host Laguna Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks' defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
