Basketball Game Preview: Springboro Panthers vs. Beavercreek Beavers

The Springboro Panthers will head out to face off against the Beavercreek Beavers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Springboro is headed into Thursday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They fell 55-45 to Centerville on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Beavercreek was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-45 heartbreaker at the hands of Springfield.

Beavercreek's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Springboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Springboro beat Beavercreek 57-47 in their previous matchup on February 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Springboro since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
